Program Dates and Application Deadlines
If you're coming to Berkeley from your home country, use the Overseas Deadline. If you're already in the U.S. and transferring from another school, refer to the Transfer Deadline.
Due to lengthy visa appointment and processing times (up to 30 days in some countries), we recommend that you send us your complete application as soon as possible.

Program Fees
The program fee is paid to UC Berkeley Extension. Total program cost relates to your study option:
- Application fee: $150 (nonrefundable)
- One semester: $10,200
- One semester with internship: $12,600
- Two semesters: $19,900 (with $500 discount)
- Two semesters with internship (summer): $22,300 (with $500 discount)
- Summer Essentials of Business: $6,900
Only students who complete Entrepreneurship are eligible for the summer internship. All fees are subject to change without notice. See payment options.

- On-site advising (academic, health, immigration)
- Program and academic orientation
- Housing assistance
- Computer lab access
- Certificate and transcripts
- Textbooks and course readers
- Completion ceremony and reception
Notice of Acceptance
The application review process takes three to four weeks. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis in the order they are received. Only complete applications are reviewed! Space is limited, and FSBE courses can fill before the application deadline, so send your completed application as soon as possible. You will be notified by mail regarding your acceptance status and further instructions.
