Parking is available for a fee in the basement of the Golden Bear Center Saturdays and evenings until 30 minutes after classes end. The garage is closed on Sunday.

Campus Access for Students with Disabilities

Parking
After 5 pm weekday and all day weekends, Extension students may park in campus fee lots marked with a P on the campus parking map.
Although most parking fee machines accept dollar bills, you may need $5 to $6 in quarters for some lots and campus entrances. UC Berkeley Extension cannot reimburse students for parking fees or violations under any circumstances.
Extension students may choose to purchase a Night/Weekend permit hang tag, which allows students to park in campus lots after 5 pm with the additional purchase of a daily permit at the student affiliate rate. Purchase this permit at the East or West Gate prior to your class or during the day at the Parking and Transportation (P&T) office: 2150 Kittredge Street (at Oxford) (510) 642-4283.
Public parking is available in municipal lots and garages in around the Berkeley campus.
Night Safety Services
The campus police department (UCPD) offers a variety of services including BearWALK uniformed escort service, Safety Shuttle service with stops through and around campus, and a Night Safety Map showing the most frequented and well-lit walking routes through campus.
