This program provides the knowledge, tools, and skills needed for successful facilities management along with a thorough understanding of and practical experience in the critical business decision-making process of the facility manager.

Students who wish to enroll in the program are required to submit the registration form and fee. Students are expected to establish candidacy prior to or during their first semester in the program. Upon successful completion of the program requirements and payment of any certificate fees, students will notify the departmental representative, who will verify the record and request the certificate from the records department. All final and official student records will be kept in the Registrar’s Office.
Transfers, waivers, or substitutions may be permitted in this 120-hour program on an exception basis with approval by the Department Chair. Note: students may not be compliant with IFMA FMP requirements.
To receive the certificate of completion, the student must satisfy all 120 hours of program course requirements with a final grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and earn no grade lower than a C in any course. Course requirements can be completed in any format (online, hybrid, webinar). All courses must be taken for academic credit and a letter grade. The program can be completed in one year, and students will have five years to complete the program from the original date of enrollment.
