In-depth advising helps you tailor a course plan, identify the medical or health program that fits your needs, and prepare an application for further study that presents you at your best. With UC Berkeley Extension's Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions Program, you're ready to join others who have taken courses, completed the program, and succeeded in gaining admission to a wide range of medical, dental, veterinary, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy and other healthcare programs.

Program Requirements

To earn a certificate of completion in the Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions Program, students must complete at least 24 semester units and maintain at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, and complete Health Careers Seminar parts I and II. The program must be completed in a maximum of three years. Credits earned in online sections are not applicable toward the certificate. Available courses this term are listed in the Web catalog at the URLs below. Additional courses will be added as they are approved. Courses on the approved list that were taken beginning in summer 2005 can be applied towards the program requirements.
