Every year, in partnership with Fortune 500 companies and government entities, supplier diversity programs spends billions of dollars on goods and services. Up to fifty percent of this money is mandated to go to underrepresented or disadvantaged businesses (small, minority, women, LGBT and veteran-owned). In this course, you learn how to grow your business by positioning yourself for contracting opportunities, and you gain an understanding about why supplier diversity programs are important. Explore the elements of such programs, including compliance issues, the benefits of being certified and how to connect with your ideal customers.
