Database Management

EDP 302844

Note: The Professional Sequence in Database Management is being discontinued, effective April 9, 2012. No further applications to the program will be accepted. Currently registered students should email course@unex.berkeley.edu or call (510) 642-4151.

The Professional Sequence in Database Management is designed to be more abstract or theoretical than tied to a specific database program. The curriculum gives special consideration to cross-platform issues, although you do use specific database programs to perform examples and assignments. Prepare to take the entire database application into consideration, from designing a database and using SQL to interact with that database to developing a user interface (stand-alone, client-server, Web-based).
