Prepare to take each of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination's four modules: Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Regulation (REG), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), and Business Environment and Concepts (BEC). To receive your CPA license, you must pass all four modules, in any order. Likewise, you can take these courses in any order. Each course begins with an overview of the topic, followed by in-depth review, with problems and exercises for discussion.

There are no formal admission requirements for the CPA Examination Preparation courses. However, you should be a practicing CPA seeking to update your knowledge or a CalCPA-qualified candidate preparing to take the CPA exam. To qualify, CalCPA can advise on the college completion, business and accounting credits necessary.

Estimated Cost

Each course is priced individually, and you pay the course fee at the time of enrollment. The program has an estimated cost of $3,000 (not including course materials or registration fee). Course fees are subject to change.

CalCPA members are eligible to receive a 15 percent discount on course fees. You must request the discount at the time of enrollment. To receive the discount, you must present your CalCPA membership number and enroll by phone at (510) 642-4111 or by mail. Discounts cannot be applied to enrollments through the website, cannot be applied retroactively, cannot be combined with any other discount and are nontransferable.
