In this workshop, you examine the various assessment tools that clinicians use to diagnose neurocognitive disorders. You learn how to administer the Mini Mental Status Exam (MMSE), the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test (MoCAtest.com), the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS), a geriatric depression inventory, the clock drawing and a collateral inventory. You also review the Saint Louis University Mental Status (SLUMS) and the Mini-Cog test.

- Recognize and screen for types of dementia
- Administer common mental status exams
- Administer neuropsychological status assessments
- Administer and interpret a commonly used depression inventory
