As health care delivery methods have changed, so has the opportunity for conflict. Stakeholders—physicians, nurses, clinical staff, patients/families, insurers, hospitals, government agencies, etc.—all hold unique perspectives with competing objectives and opposing needs. The diversity of cultures, belief systems, values and desires further increases the conflict creation. Use this workshop to gain a better understanding of the causes of health care delivery conflict. Understand why these clashes often go unrecognized and unresolved. Learn how to identify such conflict and explore its effect on your client's medical decision making and overall quality of care.
