In this capstone course, you will participate in an interactive and collaborative workshop environment to prepare a business plan for an actual business venture. Work with other students to develop, document and prepare materials to present to potential investors. In this interactive setting, you write, review, critique and present various aspects of your individual business plans, including a one-page executive summary, an initial set of PowerPoint slides and a presentation for peer review.

Course Objectives
- Write a well-structured business plan
- Prepare a comprehensive business plan that addresses the business venture goals, risks and potential rewards to investors
- Develop the tools necessary to present business venture proposals to investors
- Understand the requirements for venture investments to finance new ventures from both the entrepreneur’s and investor’s standpoints
- Acquire skills necessary to value the venture and prepare a plan for liquidity events/exit strategies
