Individuals who present for services with a history of trauma and traumatic experience raise unique challenges for therapists, case managers, counselors, and medical providers. Study the major clinical issues that arise in engaging individuals with trauma-related histories for services, and learn how to manage countertransference in the context of other issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, medical morbidity, poverty, and psychosis.
