Earn a Certificate or Diploma

To mark the end of your Berkeley Haas Global Access Program, you'll attend a closing ceremony at the Haas School of Business to celebrate your achievement. The inspirational and lively event—overlooking the UC Berkeley campus with views of the San Francisco Bay—features a keynote speaker, speeches from fellow classmates, the presentation of your certificates of completion or diploma, and a farewell reception.

Certificate (One Semester of Study)

To earn your certificate, you must:

  • Enroll in a minimum of 12 units of UC Berkeley classes
  • Complete a minimum of one unit of concurrent enrollment (CE) electives
  • Complete a minimum number of units from the BHGAP curriculum, depending on your track
    • Undergraduate: 7 units
    • Graduate: 9 units
  • Pass your courses with a grade of C or higher and maintain a final GPA of 2.5 or higher

Diploma (Two Semesters of Study)

To earn your diploma, you must complete the certificate requirements listed above and the following during your two semesters at Berkeley:

  • Enroll in a minimum of 24 units of UC Berkeley courses
  • Complete a minimum of one unit of concurrent enrollment (CE) electives each semester
  • Complete a minimum of units from the BHGAP curriculum, depending your track
    • Undergraduate: 14 units
    • Graduate: 18 units
  • Pass your courses with a grade of C or higher and maintain a final GPA of 2.5 or higher

Note: Courses cannot be double-counted to meet this requirement.
