UC Berkeley Global has developed relationships with select recruitment agents around the world who can effectively represent our programs to their prospective students. Through these partnerships, prospective students gain access to a respected institution that is devoted to education access and high-quality curriculum. Administered by UC Berkeley Extension—the continuing education branch of UC Berkeley—Berkeley Global provides academic and professional programs for pre-college, undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals.

Programs for University Students
Berkeley Haas Global Access Program (business/entrepreneurship)
Semester- or year-long entrepreneurship program for undergraduate or graduate students focusing on business topics; courses are taken at a top-ranked business school in the U.S. Participants also gain exposure to Silicon Valley companies. Optional Practical Training eligibility available to students who complete two semesters. Scholarships available!
- Requirements: TOEFL: 90 or IELTS Academic Format: 7 or Duolingo: 115
- Program Length: 1–2 semesters (4.5–9 months)
- Start Dates: January or August

Students have numerous site visits to leading companies in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, including LinkedIn, Google, Mozilla, Oracle and more! Your students will hear directly from entrepreneurs, founders and employees to inspire their career dreams!
Berkeley Global Access Program (most academic subjects)
Semester- or year-long program for undergraduate and graduate students. Explore a variety of UC Berkeley courses and subjects based on your academic interests—from sciences, mathematics, technology and engineering to liberal arts, literature and more.
- Requirements: TOEFL: 90 (iBT) or IELTS Academic Format: 7 or Duolingo: 115
- Program Length: 1–2 semesters (4.5–9 months)
- Start Dates: January or August

Learning alongside domestic students, students can take a variety of courses on campus that they wouldn’t find at their home university. Experience top-ranked academics without the admissions process!
Berkeley Physics International Education
Semester- or year-long program for undergraduate Physics students. Study a variety of rigorous Physics courses and gain exposure to unique research opportunities. Open to students with one year of undergraduate coursework completed.

Berkeley Global Computing and Data Science Program
Semester program for undergraduate students interested in computing, data science and related STEM fields. Students take UC Berkeley courses in programming, statistics, data analysis, machine learning and other high-demand subjects, developed in collaboration with Berkeley’s College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS).

What Is a Certificate?
Our full-time professional certificates are a credential that combines academic theory with practical knowledge, making them directly applicable to a professional career. Certificates provide concentrated study in less time and at less cost than a traditional degree program.

Don't Forget
Student Visas: Students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States must obtain an F-1 visa to attend Berkeley Global’s full-time programs. Learn more about our visa requirements for international students.
International Student Housing: We recommend several housing providers, including private or shared apartments, dormitories and homestays. Final arrangements are made directly between the housing provider and the student. For specific housing-related questions, email visiting-intl@berkeley.edu.
