Networking Opportunities
Mingle with your fellow visiting students and Haas-degree students to build connections and community. The Haas School of Business sponsors a range of student clubs open to BHGAP students that cater to professional interests within the broad field of business. Student groups at Haas are divided into those for undergraduates and graduate students . In addition, UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business hosts a number of alumni events that highlight major issues and trends in the field. Gain exposure to accelerators and incubators at Berkeley Skydeck, the high-tech entrepreneurship startup program at the University of California.
Cohort Lunches
At the beginning of the program, attend a welcome lunch—a chance to get to know your fellow students, as well as Haas faculty and staff. You'll also connect with your cohort during lunches throughout the program—with some lunches featuring guest speakers from Berkeley leadership.
Become a Leader
Join our Student Advisory Board and plan events for your fellow classmates! Past activities have included game nights; talks from guest speakers; and diversity, equity and inclusion workshops. Work with our program staff to ideate, plan and host your event.
Or take advantage of your social media prowess and become a Global Ambassador! Share your Berkeley experience with future BHGAP'ers—create and publish a blog, snap pics of campus and San Francisco, or take a video documenting your visiting-student experience.

The San Francisco Bay Area in particular, and California in general, offer beautiful scenery, exciting activities, world-class cultural events and so much more. There will be plenty of opportunities to take advantage of all that the area offers so that you can experience California like a local.
Closing Ceremony
To mark the end of your education at Berkeley, attend a closing ceremony at the Haas School of Business to celebrate your achievement. The inspirational and lively event—overlooking the UC Berkeley campus with views of the San Francisco Bay—features a keynote speaker, speeches from fellow classmates, the presentation of your certificates of completion and a farewell reception.
