Nancy Cutler, Principles of Publication Design
"One of my biggest pleasures as a graphic designer is meeting with less-experienced people interested in learning about this profession. Teaching is a natural extension of that, and I get to spend much more time and share many experiences. I enjoy interacting with adult students, sharing ideas and resources. I encourage them to view the world through the lens of graphic design. They inspire me to be up to date and keep my material fresh. I teach a brand of design that is very practical. While encouraging students to explore and push their creative boundaries, I usually come back to the practical needs that a client would require."
