Business Administration
(EDP 152025)
The Certificate Program in Business Administration introduces the fundamental concepts and
practices of business administration as preparation for a rewarding business career or advanced
study.
The program offers a quick and efficient way to develop a broad-based practical understanding of
business administration, its context, its purpose, and its underlying functional areas. It will
benefit you if you are:
- contemplating or undertaking a career transition into a position that
requires business knowledge
- preparing to launch your own enterprise
- or seeking

three concentrations employ materials and techniques that are consistent with modern principles
and best practices across the various business functional disciplines, in order to provide
knowledge and skills that can be used immediately.
The Business Administration program offers the advantage of a curriculum overseen by an Advisory Board of business and education leaders, approved by UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, and taught by working professionals with many years of practical business experience. (Course fees in the Business Administration certificate are located within individual course descriptions of the web catalog, and do not include textbooks and/or course materials.)
