Hours: business hours Mon.–Fri., 8 am–5 pm. In addition the center is open weekday evenings and Saturdays when classes are in session or when the computer lab is open.

Computer Training Facility open lab hours: (The Lab is only for Extension students enrolled in classes with an open lab component): Mon.–Thurs., noon–10 pm, closed Fri., open Sat., 10 am–5 pm.

Classrooms: enter the building using the Fremont Street entrance and please bring a valid photo ID to show at the lobby security desk. The far left elevator bank will take you to the 8th floor. Room numbers and schedules are posted in the center.

Public transportation to the Downtown Center

Parking

A two-story underground parking garage is located beneath the building and access is from Fremont St. The garage is operated by Ampco System Parking and is open Mon.–Fri. from 6 am–8 pm and Saturdays 7am–3 pm (but cars may exit after closing time). A special evening rate is available after 4:30 pm. Call Ampco at (415) 495-3578 for more information.

Parking is also available at other lots in the area.

The Art and Design Center has valet parking under the building; the entrance is on Jessie Street, off Third. For rates, phone (415) 277-0400. There are also public parking garages in the area. Discount parking (validation required; limited to four hours) is available to Extension students Mon.–Fri. after 3 pm and Saturdays at the Hearst Parking Center, 45 Third Street (between Mission and Market).
