The PHR exam has a pass rate of about 65 percent, and the SPHR exam has a pass rate of about 55 percent. Certification lasts for three years. In order to recertify, you have to either complete 60 hours of approved ongoing education/professional development in HR or take the exam again. Refer to the HR Certification Institute for details.
Recertification Through HR Certification Institute
The required courses in this certificate have been approved for recertification credit hours toward Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
