Course DescriptionGain familiarity with important microbial pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. You then study their biological characteristics, epidemiology, mechanisms and routes of transmission, pathogenesis and immunity, host response, control and prevention. This course is associated with Microbiology Laboratory MCELLBI X136. The lecture may be taken without the laboratory.
