What Is a Certificate?

Our full-time professional certificate is a credential that combines academic theory with practical knowledge, making it directly applicable to a professional career. Certificates provide concentrated study in less time and at less cost than a traditional degree program.

Online Student Applications

The student application varies for each program. Most applications involve the following steps:

Student Program Fee Payments

Fees for all International Programs are due 30 days before the first day of class. We do not accept direct payment from agents or third parties. Students must pay program fees directly to UC Berkeley Extension in U.S. dollars. In addition, the entire payment must be made with no commissions withheld. Four payment options are available.
