Schedule
The {{ program.immersives[0].longName }} is an in-person, semester-based program. Exact schedules are shared with admitted students prior to the semester start. {{ term.term }} classes will meet from {{ term.start | date:'MMMM d' }} to {{ term.end | date:'MMMM d' }}; Fall 2023 classes will meet from August 16 to December 15; classes are held on weekdays at either the Golden Bear Center or San Francisco Campus location.
Curriculum Requirements
The curriculum comprises 4 core courses for a total of 8 semester units (120 hours of instruction). To earn your award of completion, you must take all courses for a letter grade and earn a grade of C or better in each course.

Admission Requirements
To participate in this program, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Three (3) years of undergraduate study
- GPA 3.0 or better
- International students must meet English Language Proficiency Requirements.
- Completion of the Immersive Program in Entrepreneurship or equivalent program
Tuition and Fees

This includes a $500 nonrefundable* deposit to secure your space in the program. Enrollment into the program is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once you have been admitted into the program, the $500 deposit is due immediately. If your deposit is not received within two weeks of your admission date or by the program closure date, or if the program reaches capacity (whichever comes first), your admission may be revoked and your space in the program will be forfeited.
*The $500 deposit is not refundable, except in exceptional cases under the following circumstances:
- The program is canceled and you choose not to switch to another open program.
- The program is full and you choose not to switch to another open program or remain on the waitlist.
- You are denied a student visa to come to the U.S. to participate in the program. Official proof of denial will be required.
Additional Fee: Health Insurance ($900 per semester).
Health insurance is mandatory if you are participating in any of our full-time visiting-student programs. Learn more about health insurance.
Tuition does not include:

- Meals or daily expenses

Attendance Requirements
This professional certificate is a full-time, cohort-based program. In order to maintain your visa status, you must attend all scheduled courses and meetings.
F1 Visa Application and F1 Transfer Process
If you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States, you must apply for an F1 student visa to attend this certificate program. Read more about student visas.
English Proficiency Requirements
Whether you are a student, working professional or lifelong learner, you will need to demonstrate English proficiency to be considered for admission into any of our programs for international students.
Because English-language proficiency test centers are closed due to COVID-19, you can meet our English-language requirement in any of the following ways:

Interview
If you do not meet any of the above criteria, you can request an English-language interview through our department. If you are interested in this option, please select, "I would like to request an English interview" in your online application.
Note: Transcripts and credentials should reflect the program that you completed in English. Our Admissions department will assess all documentation and inform you if additional items are needed. Please note that our admissions process is holistic and meeting the English-language proficiency requirement does not guarantee acceptance. Waiver
You may request a waiver if you meet one of the following requirements:
- You have completed one year of full-time college-level instruction entirely in the English language.
- You have successfully completed a university-level program in a country or region where English is the official language.
- You are from a country or region on the exempt list.
