Online Course Delivery

Currently, all courses are only offered online. Pending public health guidance, we hope to offer classroom-based courses soon.

• Continuous enrollment: Start at any time and advance at your own pace within a semester.
• Fixed-date: Enroll in this course by its start date and complete it by its specified end date. There are no live sessions, but plenty of opportunities to collaborate with your classmates and instructor.
• Live Online: Access classroom-style interactive learning from anywhere in the world! Attend scheduled online sessions with your instructor and classmates in addition to completing your coursework.

Enrollment Instructions

1. Log in or create a UC Berkeley Extension student account at extension.berkeley.edu.
2. Add the $0 CAA Discount Program Membership to your cart.
3. Check the box under "Policy Confirmation" and click "Continue Checkout."
4. Navigate the website to search for courses to select your preferred sections.
5. Click "Add to Cart" on the desired section and click "Checkout."
6. Select the box next to "Apply a discount." (If this does not appear, the course is not eligible for the discount.)
7. Enter GOLDENBEAR discount code and click outside of the field. The screen will refresh with the discount code applied.
8. Click “Checkout” once again and complete the transaction with payment.
