Welcome to UC Berkeley Extension Custom Programs!
We offer immersive learning experiences—either in person or online—that are custom–designed to fit your needs, facilitated by world–leading UC Berkeley faculty and industry professionals.
Our Mission is to deliver exceptional experiences that empower learners to become bold changemakers around the world.
Our Vision is we work hand-in-hand with you to create and co-design a program that combines relevant courses with visits to leading companies in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Program Options
In Person at Berkeley
We'll host you at our historic Berkeley campus, where your students can visit research laboratories and interact with academics and other Berkeley students. Programs also take place at our Creative Campus in downtown San Francisco, only steps away from Google, LinkedIn, DocuSign and several startup accelerators. Your program can be customized to be delivered at your university or a hybrid of online and in-person events.
Digital Learning Option
Get the best of an immersive program while learning in a virtual format. Programs are delivered synchronously and take full advantage of our learning management platform. Students interact directly with their instructors and guest experts, and can take advantage of panel events, virtual company visits and real-life Silicon Valley pitch events.
How it Works: a Co-Creative Design
Plan and Co-Design
We work together with you from the start to co-design a custom program that addresses your unique objectives, including a custom-tailored innovation project.
Pre-Program Preparation
We can support you in promoting the program and pre-departure preparation including introductory webinars for students with pre-program assignments.
Program Delivery
We are with your students from Day 1, providing on-site support throughout the program.
Evaluation
We conduct a thorough evaluation, share the findings with you to assess effectiveness, and continually improve for your next program.
