Catherine Pinkas, PhD, M.B.A., PMP, has been a project management professional for more than 15 years, managing projects in a variety of industries, including finance, construction, information technology, hospital management, business development and events management. She has led curriculum development and training for numerous companies, including Apple, Cisco Systems, Bank of America, Network Appliances, IBM and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.

Eric T. Pool, Ed.D., CSM, PMP, has been employed at Mayo Clinic since 2007 where he currently works as a senior project manager in information technology (IT). He has completed his doctorate in organization development with a focus on project management at the University of Saint Thomas, Minnesota. Pool practices project management through a lens that combines organization development and quality management. He has experience managing diverse projects including those in the IT, HR and aerospace fields. He also teaches project management and organization development.
