Get an introduction to quantitative and statistical techniques in preparation for M.B.A. coursework or grow in your business career. You'll learn math principles in a business context and apply those principles to the study of economics, statistics, probability, finance and capital budgeting. Key topics from probability and descriptive statistics include measures of central tendency, probability distributions, correlations, and regression and statistical hypothesis testing. Topics from finance include mathematical analysis of investments and financial decision-making.
Prerequisites:
Two years of high school algebra. A recent course in college algebra is recommended.
