Learn how to use color to enhance your drawn imagery. You explore fundamental concerns of drawing—line, value, texture, shape and space—through assignments that emphasize the effective use of color, color mixing, color properties and color schemes. Demonstrations introduce wet and dry media including graphite, colored pencils, inks and watercolor. Course projects, ranging in topics from representational to abstraction, help develop your artistic voice as you delve into the use of color and drawing as a means of creative self-expression.
