Berkeley Global
Learn to design and build effective, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. You learn the fundamentals of front-end development and contemporary architectures by creating robust and dynamic web applications. Course topics include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as DOM manipulation, event handling, and responsive design. Core JavaScript concepts like async and ES6+ are also covered, as well as best practices for version control, debugging, and problem-solving.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
Learner Outcomes
On successful completion, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate proficiency using HTML elements, CSS properties, and JavaScript programming by developing responsive and dynamic web pages.
- Build and manage web applications using a contemporary front-end framework or library.
- Manage code versions, collaborate with peers and follow best practices in software development workflows using development tools, text editors, and version control systems.
- Apply principles of responsive design to develop websites which function across a variety of devices and screen sizes.
- Incorporate accessibility standards to create inclusive web experiences for users with varied abilities, using semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and keyboard navigation techniques.
- Utilize fundamental front-end technologies and best practices to develop, test, and deploy web applications to live environments.
