Course Objectives
- Apply motion design to shapes, objects, vector graphics and typography
- Learn Adobe After Effects software tools such as adjustment layers, effects and presets, graph editor motion curves, track mattes, pick whip, easy-ease, pre-composing, mask reveals, timeline features and export settings
- Understand video export settings for various formats such as MP4, GIF, MOV through AE render queue and Adobe Media Encoder
- Learn how to upload different video formats into multiple social media platforms
- Optimize video content for SEO including: labeling, tagging, adding custom thumbnails and descriptions of one’s work
- Create the illusion of 3D space through the parallax effect and puppet tool
- Design kinetic typography and logos with smooth transitions and dynamic ease-in and ease-out
- Acquire skills on how to communicate design thinking and motion-based concepts in verbal and visual form during pre-production calls or workplace meetings
- Build a portfolio of motion graphics that showcase your design and animation skills to potential clients and employers
