The ability to mobilize financial and human resources is vital to the future success of any nonprofit. To do so, the sector needs trained professionals who have deep expertise in fundraising, managing human resources and community support, recruiting and retaining volunteers and board members, and writing grants.
Students in the Professional Program in Fundraising and Volunteer Management will learn how to increase and diversify funding, to build a case statement and other materials in order to generate support, and to manage donor and volunteer relationships. This program is ideal for staff and managers at small- and medium-sized nonprofits who are looking to upskill.
You also receive ongoing coaching from the program's lead instructor, guest speakers and a personally matched adviser who has expertise in grantmaking, fundraising or volunteer management. You can identify your own adviser or request to be matched with one.
Program Perk: Ideate and Complete a Project During the Course
Bring value to your organization by developing a substantive product of value! Through pre-course assessments, you will work with your director and identify a needed project or product to develop. Then, as you go through the class, you will progress on this project through course content, activities, feedback—both in and outside of the classroom.
