Berkeley Global
Learn the study of curriculum and instructional planning in relation to specific occupations, including the role of integrated academic and career technical education curricula. Topics include curriculum design and coordination of student learning objectives/outcomes, design of formative and summative assessment, analysis of student work, rubric design, and the preparation of unit and lesson plans.

Course Objectives
- Using a student-created graphic syllabus template, create a nine-week course syllabus to include course topics, student learning outcomes, major assignments and assessments.
- Using the two-page lesson plan template provided, design lesson plans for three major instructional units.
- Using the Engaging Classroom Assessment template, create three authentic performance-based assessments that integrate Common Core State Standards within a specific career technical education industry sector.
- Formulate a rubric for your nine-week course
