Derek Day, M.B.A., has four undergraduate degrees in the areas of business management, marketing and information technology. He hasalso  taken additional graduate courses in e-marketing and is working toward his Ph.D. in management, with an emphasis on leadership. The online learning environment intrigues him because of the unique group of students it serves and because it allows students to grasp opportunities they may not otherwise have had. Day has used such opportunities to help him overcome the challenges of cerebral palsy, which requires him to use a powered wheelchair. He hopes to empower his students so they can realize their dreams and expand the limits of their minds.
