Instructional Types

Live Online
Live Online courses provide an interactive learning experience with scheduled synchronous online sessions held via Zoom video conferencing (Pacific Time). Learn more about the Live Online format.
Online, Start Anytime
Continuous enrollment course begins when you enroll. You have a minimum of 90 days and a maximum of 180 days to complete the course.
Online, Fixed Date
Enroll in this course by its start date and complete it by its specified end date. There are no live sessions, but plenty of opportunities to collaborate with your classmates and instructor.
Classroom
Take classes in-person at one of our buildings or partner locations.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

All of our courses are taught in English. If English is not your first language, please use the following test scores as guides in order to be successful:

  • TOEFL: 90
  • IELTS Academic Format: 7
  • DAAD: C1
  • TEM-4 or TEM-8: Level 70
  • Duolingo: 125

Fabio is Associate Director of Finance and Information Management Process Improvement at BioMarin. His main responsibilities are identifying, leading, and delivering continuous improvement projects with significant tangible monetary impact, which supports continuous reinvestment in the company. Fabio is a former Senior Manager in the Global Quality function at Genentech, where he managed continuous improvements of global projects and programs, and a Manufacturing Engineer at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics where he led critical projects and investigations in compliance with FDA regulations and international quality standards, managing continuous improvement initiatives. Fabio holds a BA in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salerno and a MA in Chemical Engineering from Pisa University,  where he graduated with honors cum laude. He is a licensed engineer (Italy), a certified Lean Manufacturing Six-Sigma Black Belt, and is PMP certified.

Edmond Matevosian

Edmond Matevosian is a senior transportation engineer with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and currently serves as a project manager in its HQ Division of Project Management's Statewide Project Management Improvement Office in Sacramento. He has served state government for more than 32 years in various capacities, and has four years of private-sector experience as a construction project manager. Matevosian has served as a project manager and functional manager, designing and constructing numerous multimillion-dollar highway improvement projects. He has also developed and delivered engineering and project management courses for Caltrans and universities in the CSU and UC systems.

Ronald J. Gerola, PMP, CSM, Ed.D., is Senior Program Manager of the cybersecurity portfolio of projects at Visa, a leader in digital payments and global engine of marketplace commerce.  At Visa he is responsible for oversight of cyber project planning and execution in partnership with finance, product stakeholders, and executive leadership.  In addition to this role as PM practitioner, he is also a skilled consultant and accomplished instructor, having taught and developed university-level courses for three decades at several colleges. He holds multiple certifications and is a licensed professional engineer registered in multiple states.
