HR analytics is one of the fastest-growing, most in-demand skillsets for human resource professionals today. This course will introduce you to the concepts of how analytics can be applied to the various areas of HR and talent management; no previous experience or analytics skills are necessary. In this course, you will learn the basics of measuring people at work, how to use the information available to make critical recommendations to senior leaders, and how to tell a compelling story using people data.

Heather Whiteman, Ph.D., works for General Electric Digital as head of people strategy, analytics and operations. Her work focuses on identifying/defining key talent measures and utilizing advanced workforce analytic techniques to drive business insights and decision making. Whiteman previously led strategic workforce planning for GE Aviation and Workforce Planning and Analytics at Pacific Gas & Electric. She has consulted on equal employment, affirmative action, validation and testing. Whiteman has a master’s in industrial/organizational psychology and a doctorate in human capital management.
