Sylvie Poluch

Sylvie Poluch, Ph.D., has a bachelor's degree in cellular and molecular biology, a master's in endocrinology, and a doctorate in neuroscience, all from the University of Sciences in Montpellier, France. In 2003, she moved to the U.S. to complete her postdoctoral training and continue her research on brain development at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. She is now an Associate Professor at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD, where she teaches neuroscience to graduate students and gross anatomy to medical students. She is also an instructor and team lead at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) where she teaches various biology courses online and coaches instructors.

Caitlin O'Brien

Caitlin O’Brien, Ph.D earned her B.S. in Biology at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and her Ph.D at Stanford University studying molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration. She is currently conducting her post-doctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco. There, she studies membrane trafficking in neurons during development, aging, and disease. Caitlin loves teaching and creating opportunities for her students to practice thinking like scientists. She has previously taught Human Physiology for the San Francisco State University Post-Baccalaureate program.
