Dong Lee

Dong Lee, MBA, Ph.D, DABT earned his Ph.D. in immunology from Harvard University's Division of Medical Sciences. He completed his BA in molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley and worked for a short period at a San Francisco biotechnology company prior to starting graduate school. Dong has worked for over ten years on drug discovery teams in the biopharmaceutical industry at companies such as Pfizer and Genentech. While working on due diligence teams tasked with assessing R&D portfolio licensing opportunities, he developed a newfound interest in life sciences business development and pursued an MBA degree at San Diego State University. Dong currently leads the safety pharmacology and toxicology function at a private Bay Area company focused on discovery and development of targeted cancer drugs. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology and is excited at the opportunity to showcase what an enlightening and multidisciplinary field toxicology can be.
